Social, Political and Economic effects of WW2.

Economic Effects Due to a shortage in food they had to start rationing. Women started to work when men went off to fight. Many houses and machine factories were destroyed. Munition and aircraft industries grew aslo trade unions grew and strikes.

Social Effects Women started to get higher standing as they started to work. They introduced new planes and war ships. The atomic bomb and other weapons were introduced.They got new military developments such as the suicide plane.

Political Effects European colonies in Africa and Asia started to demand independance. The US and Soviet Union became to leading world powers.Nations split into three groups with america, with the Soviet Union and ones not with either.

In October 1945 the United Nation was created to carry on Woodrow Wilson's vision of having an international organization. Germany and Korea were both split into comunist and non-conumist areas. Israel was seperated from Palestine. Parts of Eastern Europe was under the control of the Soviet Union.

They promised full employment and found new ways to run the economy. An international fund was created to prevent another depression. There were massive goverment debts, especcially in America.
